Centrelink Interfaces

SDM supports Centrelink’s range of automated interfaces providing simple, fast and error free import of information directly from Centrelink.

SDM Centrelink Interfaces are -

  • Centrelink Payments CSV files.
    • SDM fully supports the import of payments via Centrelink CSV files.
    • These files provide on request from Centrelink and include all payments made by Tenants to the housing organisation for a specific period.
    • The import process is simple and fast, basically just point to the file and click.  It removes the possibility of data entry error during a manual process.
    • Easy to handle exceptions, full reporting, and automatic disbursement of payments to the correct payment type, Rent, Water (anything you can think of) etc
    • Providing payments details by CSV file is free from Centrelink and the SDM interface comes with SDM Rents & Housing Management.
  • CCeS (Centrelink Confirmation eServices) Interface
    • SDM fully supports the import of Household Member Income details via the CCeS Interface.
    • This is the electronic version of a Centrelink Income Statement.  One or more Tenancies can be downloaded, the income details are automatically imported and updated to the individual Household Members records.
    • The process seamlessly integrates with the SDM Rent Review system, is simple and fast to use with full reporting and audit.
    • The service is free from Centrelink and the SDM interface comes with the SDM Rent Review module.
    • SDM understands and stores individual Household Member authority details to ensure compliance with Centrelink data access requirements.
    • This facility can reduce the time taken for bi-annual Rent Reviews by days (weeks for larger organisations).
  • EVoR (Electronic Verification of Rent)
    • Currently scheduled for release Jan 2023
    • SDM will fully support the EVoR interface for reporting new Rents back to Centrelink after a Rent Review.
    • The selection process links back to newly updated Rents, the SDM system automatically selecting Tenancies requiring an update to Centrelink based on Centrelink’s business rules. Full reporting and audit is available.
    • SDM understands and stores individual Household Member authority details to ensure compliance with Centrelink data access requirements.
    • This facility removes the manual process of lodging a form on behalf of a Tenant or relying on the Tenant to do it themselves.
  • DBUS (Deductions Bulk Upload Service)
    • Currently scheduled for release Jan 2023
    • SDM will fully support the DBUS interface for updating deductions from Household Members as applicable for Housing Associations in Australia
    • The selection process links back to recent EVoR lodgements, the SDM system automatically selecting only Household Members requiring a deduction change  based on Centrelink’s business rules. Full reporting and audit is available.
    • SDM understands and stores individual Household Member authority details to ensure compliance with Centrelink data access requirements.
    • DBUS closes the automation loop in the Rent Review System.
  • Note on EVoR & DBUS
    • From Centrelink’s design, EVoR & DBUS are closely linked based on a Tenancy with a recently changed Rent.   SDM has designed our systems to be as flexible as possible within the logic and business rules imposed by Centrelink, so our two systems can be used independently where ever possible.
